Welcome to my portfolio. Start here!
Hi, I’m Erin. I love discovering opportunities for problem-solving through technical innovation, which is how I’ve found myself doing Product Management at the intersection of software and hardware since 2015.
I’m passionate about technology’s ability to create good in our world, and I care deeply about users and solving the problems they encounter.
I’ve been privileged to apply my skills in deep user research, user experience design, and strategic planning on a variety of projects. Click one of the links below to learn more.
Triaging Fuel Purchases for Fleets
This isn’t only a story about conducting a usability study to get input on UX designs. It’s also a story about using impactful results to drive positive change in the product and within my organization.
Research for Product Management
While at Microsoft, I developed a global perspective around a diverse set of viewpoints, to inform product decisions for all uses in Microsoft Teams and Outlook. I gathered qualitative insights from moderated usability tests and interviews to bring the voice of the customer to the roadmap.
Cooking Habits
I completed this work as part of a UX Research bootcamp, where I practiced generative and evaluative methods for a mobile app, Kitchen Stories. Be sure to check out the FigJam associated with this project for a deep-dive into the research methodology.
Inclusion and Employee Happiness
This project showcases how I use research methods on internal stakeholders, to promote better teamwork and collaboration.
Architecture Tours
A bit more playful, this write-up focuses on my research intuition during the course of a personal project.
