Hi, I’m Erin. I’ve been working on software and hardware product teams since 2015. Throughout my work in product management, I’ve found that talking to customers and analyzing their needs is my favorite part of the product process. That’s why I’m fully focusing my career towards UX Research work.

I’m passionate about technology’s ability to create good in our world, and I care deeply about users and solving the problems they encounter.

I’ve got 8 years of Product Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering under my belt, and several experiences where I’ve gotten the chance to analyze customer needs and develop strategic guidance. I’m excited to show them to you!

Research for Product Management
While creating the roadmap for Microsoft Teams and Outlook calendars, I conducted 45 moderated usability tests and interviews to inform product direction and workflow priorities.

Cooking Habits
I completed this work as part of a UX Research bootcamp, where I practiced generative and evaluative methods for a mobile app, Kitchen Stories. Be sure to check out the FigJam associated with this project for a deep-dive into the research methodology.

Inclusion and Employee Happiness
This was a corporate research process focused on employee satisfaction. Though there was no product to explore, I used research methods to analyze areas for improvement and the team saw incredible improvements as a result.

Architecture Tours
A bit more playful, this write-up focuses on my research intuition during the course of a personal project.
